Overview:
This is a technical training specific to combustible dust, designed for subject matter experts, engineers and risk assessors. Participants to gain in-depth knowledge of combustible dust hazards, applicable standards, and risk assessment methodology so it can accurately evaluate risks, explain requirements, and train others within the organization.
This program aims to educate the learners to systematically identify, evaluate, and control hazards associated with combustible dust, and to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of program, participants will be able to:
(1) Identify combustible dust hazards in various workplace settings;
(2) Explain the conditions, consequences, and prevention methods for dust explosions;
(3) Recognize and assess potential ignition sources;
(4) Apply risk assessment methods to evaluate combustible dust hazards;
(5) Determine suitable engineering, administrative, and PPE controls;
(6) Interpret and apply applicable regulatory and corporate requirements; and
(7) Communicate combustible dust risks effectively during training or risk assessment reviews.
