Introduction:
This intensive one day training is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and techniques to deal with and resolve cases of indiscipline in the workplace in accordance with the labor laws and industrial practices of the country. This program does also provide some background of the country’s Employment Act which are in line with the Disciplinary Procedures so that employers know how they can use it to manage discipline within its workforce, be it a factory or office environment.
The program will begin by explaining in simple and practical ways the Progressive Disciplinary Procedures and how it is implemented to obtain a disciplined workforce. This is done through both Preventive and Corrective Discipline.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of program participants are able to:
- Learn the techniques to manage employees discipline professionally and tactfully in accordance with all relevant laws and regulations as well as industries best practices;
- Identify disciplinary problems and types of necessary actions to be taken; and
- Understand roles, responsibilities and power of the Top Management/Departmental Heads/Senior Managers/Managers/Supervisors in discipline handling/management.
Target Group:
All Departmental Managers, Section Managers and Executives who are in charge of a particular section, department or division in the organization should attend this program. It is also necessary for all HR Personnel who handle Industrial and Employee Relations to attend.
