SUMMARY:RIGHTS & OBLIGATIONS OF EMPLOYERS & EMPLOYEES DURING THE MANDATORY LOCKDOWN PERIOD IN MALAYSIA DUE TO COVID-19
DESCRIPTION:Introduction:\nThis 1-day program is aimed to provide an overview of the possible outcome of employment during the mandatory lockdown period in Malaysia where certain non-essential industries are not allowed to operate. \n  \nWhere essential industries are allowed to operate\, there are also certain restrictions imposed e.g.\, not more that 60% to 80% of the workforce allowed in the office at any one time and so on. Given this scenario\, some companies may be forced to reduce staff\, request staff to work from home where possible or even take pay cuts. \n  \nThe last option for employers who cannot afford the constant lockdown is either to retrench their staff or forced to close down the company. Hence\, employers and employees want to know the extent of their rights and obligations and what can and cannot be done. \n  \nLearning Outcomes:\nParticipants will be able to understand the application of the legal requirements/position of employers during the lockdown period\, and to address the perks and pitfalls of working from home. \n\nWho Should Attend:\nCompany CEO\, Directors\, Senior Management\, HR Practitioners\, Head of Departments\, and any personnel interested to acquire this knowledge. \n  \n \nDownload Brochure & Registration Form

SUMMARY:ROOT CAUSE YOUR PLASTIC PART PROBLEMS
DESCRIPTION:Overview:\nThis course examines the possible root cause/s of the variety of problems encountered during the production\, assembly and usage of injection molded plastic parts. With expeditious root-causing a solution can be implemented to resume production\, earn customers’ trust\, and bring in revenue. \nLearning Outcomes:\nUpon completion of program\, participants will be able to: \n\nKnow the root-cause/s of problems encountered throughout the supply chain of the plastic part: at the CAD designer stage\, at the toolmaker stage\, at the molding machine\, during back-end assembly\, during usage by the end-customer;\nUnderstand that problems frequently originate from CAD and tool design\, which then makes it very difficult to eliminate by tweaking injection molding parameters. Identify those CAD and tool design shortcomings early\, before tooling is started;\nPut in corrective measures\, even at CAD stage\, to avoid recurrence;\nGap analysis between your DFM report and your actual problems; and\nWhere relevant\, scientific explanations are offered as to why those problems happened.\n\nTarget Group:\nThis two-day course is offered to anyone involved in the supply chain of plastics parts and products. Any rank from the departments of R&D\, NPI\, Marketing\, Project Management\, Process Improvement\, Manufacturing\, Production Quality\, Supplier Quality\, Procurement\, Customer Quality\, will benefit from knowing how to expeditiously root-cause a defect/failure of a plastic part. Knowing the root-cause also acts as a check and balance to wasteful guesswork efforts. \nIdeally\, the participants should have some knowledge of plastics materials\, injection moulding tooling and processes\, FEA\, and engineering fundamentals\, although the basics will be introduced. \nCompanies with CAD engineers and tool designers in the injection-moulding industries will benefit as it prepares them to spot design shortcomings in the CAD files\, before steel is cut. \nCompanies with back-end assemblers\, and users of the plastic parts\, will benefit by recognizing where the defect/failure originated in order to quickly resolve the issue for the end-customers. \nSenior Management is encouraged to attend so that long-term solutions can be established. \n  \n \nDownload Brochure & Registration Form

Employees are required to interpret the contents of Safety Data Sheet (SDS)– This training will enable the participants on how to further improve on chemical safety\, fully understand and knows how to response to daily and emergency situations. \nLearning Outcomes:\nUpon completion of program\, participants will be able to: \n\nhave a better understanding and appreciation towards legal requirements & implications;\nhave proper knowledge in safe management of chemicals at workplace;\nunderstand hazards & risks associated in chemical usage; and\nhow to react to a Chemical Spill Emergency Response.\n\nTarget Group:\nChemical Handlers\, Safety & Health Officer\, Safety & Health Committee Members\, Department Supervisor\, ERT Members & Facilities Members. \n  \n \nDownload Brochure & Registration Form
