Chemicals are now considered as a necessity in our daily life. In particular, we are likely to be exposed to hazardous chemicals, especially at our workplace. Typically, Scheduled wastes are generated from the chemicals, chemicals containers, chemical stains & sub-product/process generated. Based on the current OSHA 1994 and Environmental Quality Act 1974 and its related-regulations they clearly stated that the employees have the ‘right-to-know’ on chemicals used & scheduled wastes generated, the hazard/risk posed to them, identify the point of use /discharge & how to handle them.
